Your Location Matters During Telehealth
Your eligibility for a telehealth appointment is based on where you are physically located at the time of the session—not only the state listed as your home address.
Before each appointment, you will be asked to confirm your current location. Your clinician must be licensed or otherwise legally authorized to provide counseling in that state.

Our Novi location is administrative only. We do not currently offer walk-in or in-person counseling appointments at this location.

Understanding Telehealth Eligibility
Do you offer in-person counseling in Novi?
No. Milton’s Place currently provides counseling appointments through secure telehealth. The Novi location is administrative and is not a walk-in or in-person therapy office.
Can I attend therapy while traveling?
Possibly. Your clinician must be licensed or otherwise authorized to provide counseling in the state where you are physically located during the appointment. Please discuss travel plans with your clinician in advance.
What if I move to another state?
Tell your clinician as early as possible. If your new state is one Milton’s Place currently serves, continuing care may be possible. Your clinician will confirm authorization, availability, and any insurance considerations.
Does insurance coverage vary by state?
It can. Network participation, telehealth benefits, deductibles, copayments, and other coverage details depend on your individual plan and clinician. Insurance coverage is not guaranteed until your benefits have been verified.
What if my state is not listed?
